I am so happy to be the ITL Specialist at Riverview Elementary School.
This is my 12th year in the Farmington School District, but I have been a Information & Technology Literacy Specialist (Librarian and Media Specialist) for 22 years and was a classroom teacher and reading specialist for four years before earning my Master's Degree in Information Media and Instructional Technology.
Media Class Grading and Schedule
First & Second Trimester -
Students in grades 1-5 are assessed based on class participation, which includes taking good care of books and returning them on time, choosing just right books, as well as completing class work and assignments to the best of their ability.
Third Trimester -
Students in grades 1-2 are assessed on class participation as above.
Students in grades 3-5 are assessed on class participation, plus selected Literacy and Technology standards.
